Dr. Syndi Seinfeld is the medical director of Epilepsy at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital’s Neuroscience Center. She received a doctorate in osteopathic medicine from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. Her postdoctoral training has included a rotating internship at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Islip, New York, as well as a pediatric residency, child neurology fellowship and neurophysiology fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.

 

Dr. Seinfeld is board certified in child neurology and epilepsy. She holds membership in several professional societies, including the Child Neurology Society, the American Epilepsy Society, the American Academy of Neurology and the American Osteopathic Association. She obtained a Masters Degree in Clinical and Translational Science at VCU. She has a Fellow designation from the American Academy of Neurology. Dr. Seinfeld is involved in research, and has published numerous original manuscripts, reviews and book chapters. She is a member of the Pediatric Neurology editorial board
