Kelly King is the Director of Quality and Patient Safety at the Memorial Cancer Institute (MCI) in Hollywood, FL.  She has more than 20 years’ experience working in Oncology.  In her current role, Kelly serves as the administrative lead for the cancer center accreditation and certification programs, bundled payment programs, and oversees all institutional quality improvement initiatives.  She has participated in a variety of quality initiatives to include reducing emergency department visits, reducing time to chemotherapy administration, and implementing comprehensive distress screening processes. 

Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida, a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare from Florida International University and is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. She also serves as the co-chair of the Quality Committee for the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology (FLASCO).
