Overview
This is a multi-disciplinary case-based conference that includes physicians and APPs from the multiple subspecialities involved in the care of critically ill neurological patients. The cases presented during this conference allow us to discuss with the participants the particularities surrounding the diagnosis, treatment and outcomes of the patients discussed. This includes review of the most current management guidelines for important neurocritical care topics such as severe traumatic brain injury, management of post anoxic brain injury, acute ischemic stroke. The inputs during this multidisciplinary conference from the various subspecialists also lead to improvements and updates to the protocols for the above mentioned conditions.
