Overview

The 28th Annual Trauma Symposium is designed for healthcare professionals involved in the management of trauma patients. Specialists will provide presentations on current topics and a forum for the exchange of knowledge and ideas on a variety of issues. Panel discussions will also be provided to stimulate dialogue with the audience in a question-and-answer format. At the completion of this symposium, participants will have enhanced their skills and competence in patient care, medical knowledge, and system-based practice.

 

Objectives

At the completion of this symposium the participants should be able to:

·       Examine the epidemic of violence and the role of injury prevention initiatives.

·       Characterize the role of communication between providers to improve outcomes.

·       Explain the multidisciplinary approach to comprehensive trauma management.

Registration is closed. Onsite registration is welcomed. 

In person attendance costs:

  • MHS Physician - $450.00
  • Non-MHS Physician - $575.00
  • MHS Healthcare Professional - $175.00 (RN, Nurse Practitioner, Social Worker, EMS, etc.)
  • Non-MHS Healthcare Professional - $275.00 (RN, Nurse Practitioner, Social Worker, EMS, etc.)
  • Residents/Fellows/Medical Students – FREE
  • Industry Rep - $625.00

* Residents/Medical Students must provide proof of residency or medical school status upon check in at the event.

  • MHS/Non-MHS Physician (One day registration Thursday or Friday) - $275.00
  •  MHS/Non-MHS Healthcare Professional (One day registration Thursday or Friday) - $105.00
